Srinivas Narayanan, VP of Applied at OpenAI: Srinivas Narayanan currently serves as the Vice President of Applied at OpenAI. In this pivotal role, he leads the product teams responsible for driving innovation in ChatGPT and Platform APIs. Prior to joining OpenAI, Srinivas spent several years during Meta/Facebook’s hypergrowth period, holding key roles in engineering leadership. Notably, he served as the Vice President of Engineering, leading the AI Applied Research & Engineering Group at Meta/Facebook.
Dr. Umesh Maheshwari, Chief Scientist at LucidLink: Umesh co-founded Nimble Storage and served as CTO, overseeing product architecture and core tech. He led rapid growth, taking the company public in 2013.
Prof. Kamal Bawa, Founder and President Emeritus of ATREE: Kamal is a distinguished professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a Fellow of the Royal Society and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He is also the Founder-President of India’s Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE), a leading environmental think tank in Bangalore, India. Kamal has addressed diverse concerns on biodiversity, sustainability, biodiversity conservation and climate change in the Himalayas, Western Ghats, and Central America. He has won several international awards for his work in the Himalayas.
