Our Fall 2022 Internship Program (September 2022 through December 2022):
Through our internship program, you will:
- Work with our experienced team to ensure the success of our partner organizations
- Gain valuable insight as you work directly with the founder and a tight-knit team
- Enjoy a flexible working schedule (10-25 hours per week, depending on your availability)
- Be eligible for credits through your university or earn a small stipends (for college graduates)
- Gain start-up experience in the nonprofit, for-profit, and social impact sectors
- Have access to mentorship during and post-internship (if interested)
- Receive a letter of recommendation
Summary:
The intern will report directly to the Business Development Director. The position will focus on research, competition analysis, and sales/fundraising support. These will allow you to gain experience in critical phases of the business development/fundraising process and combine analytical and creative assignments.
Responsibilities:
The Business Development intern will support the Founder and CEO, and the Development Director on a wide variety of tasks, including:
- Researching third-sector potential partners and new business opportunities
- Collaborating and assisting in generating sales/fundraising materials
- Assisting with managing and updating CRM and creating reports
- Supporting the preparation for meetings with prospects
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in the intersection of nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and social impact
- Completed or working toward a college degree in a relevant field
- Must be Google Suite literate and have your own laptop
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to seek clarification and provide honest timely feedback, when appropriate
- Familiarity with CRM systems (highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently and within a teamwork environment, remotely and via video calls when necessary
- Strong WIFI connection
- Located anywhere in the United States
